HSY celebrates mother’s 84th birthday
Pakistani fashion designer and television host Hassan Sheheryar Yasin, popularly known as HSY, has penned a heartfelt birthday tribute for his mother as she turned 84.
Taking to Instagram, HSY shared a series of pictures with his mother and described her as the woman who raised him with immense love, strength and courage.
Calling his mother the centre of his life, HSY credited her for teaching him the importance of hard work, gratitude, bringing people together and staying true to himself.
He recalled how she always reassured him during difficult times with four simple words: “Everything will be okay.”
HSY also shared on being raised by a single parent, saying one person can provide a child with security, courage, discipline, tenderness and an entire world to stand on.
Paying tribute to his mother’s influence, he said whatever strength he carries, whatever he has built and whatever love he knows how to give bears her fingerprints.
The designer ended his emotional message by wishing his mother a happy 84th birthday and expressing his love for her.
Hassan Sheheryar Yasin, popularly known as HSY, is one of Pakistan’s leading fashion designers, television hosts and actors.
He began his fashion career in the 1990s and later established his own label, becoming a prominent name in Pakistan’s couture industry.
He also hosted Tonite with HSY and ventured into acting with projects including Pehli Si Mohabbat and Ishrat Made in China.
