Section 144 imposed across Balochistan for one month

The Balochistan government has imposed Section 144 across the province for 30 days, restricting public gatherings and other activities in public places.

According to a notification issued yesterday, gatherings, sit-ins, rallies, and protests have been banned at public places during the period.

The notification also prohibits people from covering their faces or wearing masks in public places.

Law-enforcement agencies and district administrations have been directed to ensure strict implementation of the Section 144 restrictions across the province.

The order will remain in force for one month throughout Balochistan.
