250 PTI workers booked for removing barriers at Attaock bridge

Attock police booked 250 PTI workers for creating chaos and removing hurdles at Attaock bridge ahead of long march which separates Punjab and Khyber Paktunkhawa provinces. 

Cases involving eight serious charges were registered at the Attock Khurd police station following incidents of rioting and vandalism at Attock bridge. 

The law enforcement agencies detained several activists after the incident that occurred on the bridge. The charges of damaging public property have been brought against the arrested individuals. The responsibility for the damage caused to public property will be placed on the concerned individuals in accordance with the law. The legal proceedings will be initiated to recover the cost of the damage, police stated.
